Ellen Chen is a multimedia artist based in New York City whose work draws from Dadaism to explore the illogical through absurdity, satire, and dark humor. Her practice spans VR, interactive installations, and generative media.
To her, art isn’t a gated world for the trained or initiated — it’s a space where everyone belongs.She sees creativity not as a skill, but as a shared instinct waiting to be encouraged.
Ellen holds a B.A. in Psychology and Philosophy from NYU and is currently pursuing an MPS at the Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU Tisch.
